As a Structural Systems Engineer you will have:

  • Experience in Systems Engineering / Project Engineering / Mechanical Engineering/Composite manufacturing engineering.

Junior Technical Support

Junior Technical Support - Base Salary up £35K - Hybrid - London Office - Private Health Insurance


My client has been selling their chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. They are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with the likes of Octopus Energy, Volvo Benelux, VW UK, Smart Home Charge and other innovative brands.

Your Role:

You’ll be facilitating resolutions to any issues raised (technical or otherwise) relating to ongoing installations, liaising with installation partners and internal customer services teams.


Responsibilities:

· Act as a point of contact fo installation partners, to raise any technical queries regarding installations.

· Support customer services teams in escalating any issues (technical or otherwise), relating to customer queries for ongoing installations.

· Conduct technical reviews on complaints raised by customer services teams, regarding issues with installations, and facilitate resolutions with installation partners.

· Identify trends with common issues raised by installation partners and customer services teams, and help develop solutions to prevent reoccurrence.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement.


Requirements:

· Have a strong electrical understanding of EV charging installations, and the requirements under BS7671 and IET Wiring regulations.

· Excellent communication skills, to engage with internal teams (such as customer service and data insights) and external stakeholders (such as installation partners).

Product Manager

EV Charging Product Manager - Base Salary up to £50K - Remote/Hybrid options - Equity Shares available.


Your remit is to work with customers, internal teams, and numerous external suppliers to translate challenges and opportunities in to a well defined, achievable product roadmap.


You will help scope and define backlog items, as well as prioritising work to make sure delivering value to customers as rapidly as possible.


You will then ensure that work is carried out as expected and to a level of quality matching with their aspiration as a business. Additionally, you'll work with the wider product team to make sure that new features and enhancements are documented and communicated to the wider business, and work with the marketing team to push this communication out to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Previous experience researching, originating and delivering SaaS products and functional improvements in an agile environment;
  • Ability to analyse competitors and take feedback from customers, and translate this into coherent requirements that add value to the product;
  • Ability to prioritise a backlog based on a commercial understanding of how to deliver value to our customers through the product;
  • Knowledge of user experience and user centric design best practice.

Lead Firmware Engineer

Lead Firmware Engineer - Hybrid - Base up to £70K - EV salary sacrifice scheme


My client are a young, progressive, innovative and fast-growing company with its HQ born and based in Stallingborough, with subsidiaries based in Germany, Benelux, Northern Ireland, Australia and ambitions to open facilities right across the world. We specialise in the design and manufacture of ground-breaking renewable-energy technology products.


Due to a very exciting stage of growth and development, we’re now looking to recruit a Lead Firmware Engineer.


Responsibilities:

• Create and implement a quality framework for the growing firmware team, including:

• Drive TDD processes (inc HiL alongside Engineering Test teams.

• Lead the firmware developers in use of best practice and SDLC.

• Investigate and deliver innovations, prototypes and concepts as part of a cross discipline team.

• Provide mentorship and career pathway guidance for new engineering talent.


Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Leadership of a team of firmware developers.

• Test Driven Development and HiL.

• Sprint/Kanban organisation/planning.

• ETSI 303645 Security Standard.

• IoT Application Layer Protocols (such as Matter, MQTT, Thread, CoAP, AMQP).

• Use of RTOS in embedded products.


We will also consider experience with:

• ISO 15118

• Renewable Energy Systems (Generation, Battery Storage…)

• A relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience.

• Working towards Chartered Engineer or with equivalent experience.
